The new Horseshoe Lake pumping station near New Bright ton Road is reflected as water backs up behind it. The station is an integral part of the Christchurch Drainage Board’s Dudley Creek flood relief diversion project. When flood waters reach the lake, the station will control their outlet into Kerrs Reach on the Avon River.
