This would cover many areas including injection and compression moulding, toolroom, press shop and many of the production departments. The first-off components from these tools and jigs would need to be checked against drawings and findings recorded fully. These components will be. not only new products, but also the result of modifications and changes to existing products. The person we require must be of a strong engineering background, probably a toolmaker by trade. An ability to measure fine dimension accurately by the use of trigonometry is most important.
