Manager of Naviti from Christchurch

A young Christchurch man is manager of the luxurious Ramada Naviti Resort Hotel on the Coral Coast between Sigatoka and Korolevu. Roger Wright, a sociology graduate of the University of Canterbury, took up his new appointment at the Naviti last

year after managing a hotel in Samoa. His aim is to transform the Naviti into a family oriented resort. He has already introduced a scheme whereby children under 14 can share their parents’ room free of charge. Room rates vary from $34 for twin occupancy (deluxe to $5B for triple occupancy of an executive suite. The hotel has 150 spacious rooms and is set in a secluded park-like setting overlooking the coral reef. There are convention facilities for 350 people.
