Parents whose children attend the Avonhead, Russley, Merrin, and Westbum primarv schools will vote soon on whether they want Form 1 and 2 pupils from those schools to attend intermediate schools in Fendalton or Riccarton from next February. The Canterbury Education Hoard has proposed that Russley and Avonhead school pupils attend the Kirkwood Intermedate School. Riccarton, and that
those from Westbum and Merrin schools attend the Cobham Intermediate Schol, Fendalton. The board’s general manager (Mr D.
