Wall Street last week
| The Wall Street sharemarket posted broad losses last week, although it recovered a little towards the close. Expectations of tighter credit and higher interest rates combined with caution over news that the U.S. economy had slowed more than had been expected in the first quarter, kept prices down in moderate trading.
