Standard of referees
On referees, Mr Thomas said the standard on tour was very good and a meeting early in the tour to discuss law interpretations had been well worthwhile. He said that because of strong captaincy and the policy of not speaking back to referees, the team had at no stage of the tour been

Mr Thomas said that Nevi i Zealand should insist that New Zealand referees were f used in games in the United > Kingdom and other countries so that the experience they c gained would help take somi t of the tensions out of the 1 game.
