Security at Beehive
PA Wellington Ministers will be closeted behind a tight security net when they move into the Beehive in July. “People will not be permitted to wander about,’’ said the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) at a news conference.
“Everyone who wants to visit a Minister will be identified, and I am not sure that people will not have to be escorted,” he said. Mr Muldoon said security officers would be paid on the same State Service scale as those at Defence establishments.
