New intake of Territorials
The latest intake of soldiers for full-time Territorial training has started at Burnham Military Camp. Thirty-five women are included among the 230 recruits from the South Island and lower half of the North Island. Documentation, issues of clothing and military equipment, and an introduction to their first military skills will be part of the recruits’ first two days of training. , The 12-week course will [end on July 11. when the re- | emits will leave to join ;their units throughout New Zealand. ■
