NZPA Hong Kong New Zealand’s exports to Singapore, which. rose 40 per cent last year, are growing most rapidly in non-traditional fields.

A newsletter from the New Zealand High Commission in Singapore says that sales of manufactured foodstuffs to the island State have risen 90 per cent in the last year to fetch $NZ713,973. Fish, dyes, colouring agents,' plastic and rubber products, timber, paper, metal ware, and machinery sales have also shown spectacular growth, says the commission. It says that a Singapore buyer is looking to New Zealand as a source of dried flowers.
