Spokesman on women

PA Wellington The Minister of Justice (Mr McLay) has been appointed the Government’s spokesman on women. The Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) announced this after yesterday’s meeting of the Government caucus.

He said that most legislation concerning women came under the Justice portfolio.

There are no women in the National Cabinet.
