Onus on you for solid fuel installation
Always remember that the onus is on you as the property owner to ensure that you have a building permit from your local authority. This is mandatory to you under the law and if you have a house fire the cause of which is traceable to an installation not covered by a permit your insurance cover could be affected. The Building Centre recommends that your installation is carried out by an experienced heating installer.
Tire centre can help in this field and does not recommend handyman installations — your home and even your life may depend on it.
