Shipping News Foreign fishing boats refuel
Nine foreign fishing vessels have been refuelled with diesel at the Lyttelton oil installation during the last week. Eleven fishing vessels called at the port. One had a sick seaman and did not bunker, and another was refused fuel oil. Many Japanese fishing vessels off the South Island are said to be short of fuel. Three tankers are due at Lyttelton during the next two weeks, but one scheduled for arrival on Saturday has been diverted to 'the North Island. The Kuaka I was due in from Marsden Point. Ibut has been diverted back. ! Two tankers are due at Lyttelton from Singapore. The Eduma is expected on April 28, and the Entilina on May 10.
