Cumming Secretary 2OOB COMMISSION OF INQUIRY INTO WAGE RELATIVITIES ON NEW ZEALAND VESSELS A COMMISSION HAS been appointed to inquire into and report upon: (a) The remuneration (including the salaries, increments, allowances and leave) and the travelling arrangements in respect of ail seafaring positions on vessels specified in the New Zealand Maritime Industry (Sea-Going) Award, dated April 14th, 1978 or in any instrument that supercedes that Award. (b) The wage relativities and terms and conditions of employment applicable in respect of the above seafaring positions. Persons or organisation concerned with matters falling within the Commission’s order of reference are invited to make submissions to and/or appear to give evidence before the Commission. All persons intending to present evidence are asked to advise the Secretary accordingly by May 14th. 1979, and to have six copies of evidence available at the hearing.
