N.Z. rugby ‘first’
NZPA Washington Forty players and supporter of the London New Zealand rugby club flew into Washington yesterday to begin the club’s first ever visit to the United States. Highlights of the trip will be participation in Washington’s annual cherry blossom festival this week-end and the Commonwealth Cup at
i Charlottesville, Virginia, the ■ following week-end. The New Zealanders are ) favoured to win. both tournai ments. ■ The New Zealand team will also play several other I games in Maryland, Virginia, • and the nation’s capital. i The captain of the squad [ is the 1976 All Black prop, ; Paul Sapsford.
