HORSE TALK
Three dressage horses travelled to Avondale to compete in the national dressage tournament at Easter. They were Mrs Sue Alleyne's Johann Strauss, ridden by Lockie Richards. Mrs Nancy Jack’s All Delight (South Canterbury) and G. Rattray’s Marsala (Nelson). The local horse, Johann Strauss, which represented New Zealand in Sydney last year, competed successfully at the recent dressage tournament in Christchurch when ridden by Richards.
