NZPA-Reuter Hattiesburg i Mississippi 1 Bob Charles, of New Zealand finished five' strokes behind the leaders in the twelfth annua] Maynolia 1 Classic golf tournament, at : Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The American, Bobby Walzel, won the championships by parring the second hole (
of a sudden-death play-off with Buddy Gardner. Walzel, a five-year professional, posted a five-under-par 65 to finish the regulation 72 holes tied with Gardner on 272, eight under par on the Hattiesburg Cuntry Club course. Charles finished on 277 with rounds of 71, 67, 72, 67.
