Forecast: * Canterbury: Fine apart from areas of cloud and morning mist; variable winds, n o r t h-easterlies predominating, but possibly’ a change to south-westerlies late in the day; moderate afternoon temperatures.
Marlborough, Nelson: Mainly fine but some morning . low cloud or fog; variable winds, ncfrtherlies predominating in the outer Sounds; mild by afternoon. Outlook Wednesday: fair. Buller, Westland: Mainly fine with light winds but some cloud, mainly about Westland; showers likely in the south; moderate temperatures. Outlook: Cloudy on the West Coast, fair elsewhere.
