Completion of the new Curletts Road overbridge, near Blenheim Road, has been delayed until later this year. An openinghad earlier been expected about mid-April. Work on the Southern Motorway link to the Brougham Street Expressway is running behind schedule. That will also hold up opening of the Curletts Road extension to Halswell Road. Tenders have now been called by the Ministry of Works and Development for three-span superstructures of the motorway’s future Lincoln Road and Wrights Road overpasses.
