Good Health—a precious gift.

:: Get enough sleep. Don’t skimp on sleep you know you need but on the other hand don’t worry if you miss out on sleep sometimes as long as you are feeling well. Develop better eating habits. Don’t neglect the kind of food you need for good health. Everyone experiences stress differently. We all have our own unique pattern of emotional reactions to different situations so that situations which are extremely stressful to some people are not nearly as threatening to others. Our ability to cope with stress will also vary in different situations. Learning to recognise and understand your own emotional response can help you find ways to reduce unwanted stress. Learn to take responsibility for your own feelings. You may not be able to change some stressful situations, but you can decide to change how you respond to them. This won't always be easy, and it may mean a whole change in your way of thinking so don’t be despondent if you. don’t always succeed. Recognise your own strengths and weaknesses and those of other people, and learn to accepi what you cannot change.
