Tlie popular Invercargi' jazz-rock group. Visio; will piay in a 'Two-Bar Special” with Bon Marc! at the Aranui Motor Hot during the Easter wee end. Originally establishi as a five-piece bam including saxophone, whe; formed in 1369 afte various groups split ir Invercargill, Vision ha* since had 24 differen members, several of when were professions musicians. The group is now ar eight-piece, and only Bob Daley and Dave Gillie. 1 - are original members Daley has been with the band for the full duration of its existence, while Gillies has since been with Link and Brigade. The brass players arc among the best in New Zealand, and ali have been to the United States, Britain, and Europe with the New Zealand National Band; Dave Hughes is the “utility” player when one of the other two trumpeters, Trevor Tattersfield and Kevin Dell, cannot play.
