There ore 18 different models from the Block Forest region oil fitted with a rack type cuckoo-clock-movement The one at left is a Block-Smith's shop tn o Black Forest House. Other designs include moving figures, a turning water wheel and hunting scenes around the traditional chalet —■ in varying ornate works some with plain handcarved wood figures others elaborately carved and intricately painted.
