New United player
The younger brother of the New Zealand soccer international Kevin Weymouth, has joined Trans Tours United. Barry Weymouth, a 21-year-old striker, was playing for Takapuna, a prominent northern league club, and was involved in two Air New Zealand tournament
matches against the Rothmans League clubs, Eastern Suburbs and North Shore, earlier this season. He may find he has a difficult task to force his way into the first team, but the United coach, Mr Brian Hardman, said he was pleased to have some extra cover for his strikers.
