Values leader ‘not resigning’
The leader of the Values t Party (Mr A. H. Kunowski)! says that reports of his threatening to resign from leadership of the party are “grossly inaccurate.” (Report, Page 2). He said he had decided to ; stand again for the leadership of the party about three weeks ago. He had made statements < saying he was not prepared * to make a firm commitment to the party because of a ' “small vocal element” within : the party which had an anti- i leadership complex. To deny that leadership! 1 factors existed in the party!!
.was absurd. Mr Kunowski j said. The party needed to make a substantial change to enable it to stay in the political arena. “What the party needs is to come down to professionalism, doing homework, and getting facts right,” said Mr Kunowski. He had found the comments of the deputy leader of the party (Mrs Margaret Crozier) rather strange. Some people probably would prefer Mrs Crozier as a leader but he did not think it was a significant number, j He agreed that Mrs Crozier had a different leadership; style from his own.
