Student to visit U.S.
Mr Christopher Newcomb, who is studying mathematics and physics at the University of Canterbury, will leave on Wednesday to spend two weeks in the United States as the guest of the San Diego Kiwanis Club. Mr Newcomb, aged 18, is from Napier. He won the Kiwanis travel award at last year’s Philips New Zealand science fair. He will take part in the twenty-fifth Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair from April 19 to 22.
