(Mr Sunao Sonoda), who has I left for Washington for a round of high-level talks with United States officials, is to sound out the United States Energy Secretary (Mr James Schlesinger) on the cooperative effort to expand ■ vastly, development of such non-oil energy sources as i coal liquefaction, solar energy, and nuclear fusion, i the sources said. —Tokyo.
