Australian wildlife series
“A Matter of Course,” the first programme tomorrow afternoon on SPTV in a new family wildlife series entitled "In the Wild with Harry Butler,” the naturalist Butler travels the wilds to Australia’s vast north-eastern region. In North Queesland’s Gulf country Harry Butler goes in search of the Lawn Hill water rat, thought to be extinct, and finds one; together with a variety of other water animals, including crocodiles.
Through this series Butler continues his campaign to educate wildlife’s most dangerous enemy, man, and to introduce the viewers to rare animals and plants they might otherwise never see.
The series is an Australian Broadcasting Commission production.
