The amateur boxing sea- 1 son in Canterbury should] get away to a whirlwind' start with a novice tourna-j ment at the Caledonian Hall; tomorrow afternoon. Twelve bouts have been; included on the programme, two of them involving American competitors who i are living in Christchurch. Boxers will also be travelling from Ashburton and] Temuka. :
