Hillier, c Town Clerk. 1 111 CEB CANTERBURY EDUCATION BOARD ELECTION OF AREA SCHOOLS COMMITTEES OF MANAGEMENT A meeting of parents to elect up to seven parents’ representatives on each school committee of management will be held at each of these schools on Tuesday, May 1, 1979. at 7.30 p.m. In accordance with the , draft regulations pertaining to composite schools, or area schools as they are more | commonly known, and the : school’s own constitution, the committee of management of seven members may co-opt up to two other members to represent their other inter- . ests or to provide fuller representation of the interests of the contributing schools. At every such meeting the Chairman of the meeting shall call on parents present at the meeting to nominate persons for election to serve on the committee for the two years next ensuing. Every nomineee present at ' the meeting shall forthwith |i inform the Chairman by word 11 of mouth whether he accepts ; nomination or not.
