MANAGER (LARGE NZ AGRICULTURAL BASED CO.I This is a new position in one of New Zealand's laigest locally owned agricultural based companies, having a total turnover in excess of 200 million dollars. Exporting and local national marketing are dominant activities of their Meat Division, with an export packing plant supplying a diversified meat product range to a growing number of world wide markets. Because of recent company acquisitions we require a talented Manager to plan, co-ordinate, and integrate all the functions of buying, processing, distribution, marketing and administration within the Meat Division. The successful candidate must be able to provide dynamic leadership during a period of rapid growth. The location is in the Head Office, Wellington Citv. REQUIREMENTS: • The attributes of a good General Manager, backed by proven line management performance in a senior position. • Sound business acumen with commercial drive. • Ability to plan, organise, control and motivate staff. • Knowledgeable in export requirements; preferably experienced in marketing of meat and associated products, and buying of livestock.
