The New Zealand Christmas stamps which will he released on October 6. The designs feature a late sixteenth century Gothic ivory work (7c), a stained-glass window (11c), and stylised angels based on the carol, “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” (18c). The 18c stamp was designed by Margaret Chapman, of Christchurch, and the graphic designs for the three stamps were provided by Don Hatcher, of Auckland.
