Tech, in Mechanical - or Marine Engineering "or equivalent and a First Class combined (team and motor) certificate of competency; (il) Be a Corporate Member if the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (by examination) and have a First Class ComIbned (team and motor) certificate of competency; or ' (Hi) Be a Corporate Member of Institute of Marine Engineers (by examination since 1956) and have a First Class Combined (steam and motor) certificate ’ of competency; or (iv) Have an Extra First Class Engineer’s Certificate of- Competency; and (c) Have an extensive experience highly relative to the post. Experience in engine room ol seagoing vessels of at least) 15,000 h.p. would be an advantage. Salary equal to about 3NZ5648 -SNZ943O per annum, plus 17 per cent terminal gratuity on total earnings. One increment may be granted for each completed year of relevant experience in excess of entry requirements.
