Social Credit Candidates
The Social Credit League has endorsed Mr I. W. Barrow as its candidate for the Avon seat in the General Election. Mr M. McConnell has been chosen to stand for the Selwyn electorate. Mr Barrow is a market gardener, and is married, with five children. Mr McConnell is a slaughterman, married, with two children. Neither has stood before.
