(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 25. Group profit of Harnish and Jordan, Auckland manufacturer of folding doors and blinds, fell 65 per cent, or £15,796, to £10,475 in the year to March 31, after maintaining sales. As announced, ordinary dividend has been passed for the year. Last year dividend was restored from 8 per cent to 10 per cent. Latest profit is after £2326 more for depreciation at £16,999 and £16,943 less for tax at £8253. Earning rate on average funds was down from 14.1 per cent to 4.1 per cent while the rate on capital fell from 23.4 per cent to 8.2 per cent. Shareholders’ funds were £5767 higher at £214,040 and included ordinary capital of £104,350 and preference capital of £30,000, both unchanged.
