ON FIRST TOUR
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Four women squash rackets players will represent New Zealand for the first time when they accompany the men's and junior sides to Australia next month. The players, in team order, are as follows:—Misses P. Mills (Hamilton), C. Fleming (Auckland), Mesdames J. Legg (Auckland), H. Coroporaal (Auckland). The junior boys’ team will be as follows:—B. Tietjens (Auckland), G. Lynch (Palmerston North), N. Barbour (Henderson). The men’s team was announced earlier.
P.G.A. Title.—A. Geiberger won the Professional Golfers’ Association championship in Akron, Ohio, on Sunday with an even-par 280, a record four strokes ahead of D. Wysong. South Africa's G. Player was tied two strokes behind in third place with G. Littler and B. Casper. the United States Open champion. Geiberger recorded 68, 72, 68. 72—280. Palmer and Nlcklaus were out of the money.
