Burglaries At Week-end,
The sum of £37 was stolen when the Papanui High School was burgled during the week-end. Entry was made through an unlocked window.
A window broken when the Halswell Primary School I was entered at the week-end and 17s stolen. A radio, valued at £5, was stolen from the Christchurch Milk Company’s depot in Tahuna street. A fur coat, worth £4O, was stolen from the Woolston R.S.A. clubrooms on Friday night, and food valued at 18s 6d was stolen from a house in Barbadoes street during the week-end.
