The Lions nearly had their sixth captain on tour when the Irish prop, R. McLbughlin, was chosen to lead the team to play Manawatu-Horo-whenua on Wednesday. However, McLoughlin has had to withdraw because of a hamstring injury. There has been one major change in the backs, the wing, K. F. Savage, moving to inside-centre and being paired with D. K. Jones.
