Nursing Sister Honoured

Gifts from the nursing staff at Burwood Hospital were presented to Sister D. Armstrong recently in recognition of her long service at Burwood and her approaching marriage. Sister Armstrong, who trained at Wellington Hospital, has had wide experience of nursing in New Zealand, Britain and America. She joined the staff at Burwood in January, 1955, and was senior tutor sister responsible for training the nurse aids and male nurses.
