Research experience in entomology, particularly physiology or biochemistry of insects an advantage. Duties: One Entomologist will take part in an integrated research project on the control of forest insects. He will be responsible for work on the population dynamics and ecological relationships of defoliating or stem-boring insects. One Entomologist will undertake research on the laboratory evaluation against insects of oil and water borne preservatives. Other aspects of the research programme will be of a fundamental nature and will cover the physiology and biochemistry of wood destroying insects, the mechanism of attack in wood, both treated and untreated. 3034 (c) RESEARCH CHEMIST/ BIOCHEMIST.
