Age group 25-40, salary up to £2500 p.a. or more if your abilities warrant it. Duties will involve general supervision of a range of engineering projects. FITTER ENGINEER: This is a position for the man with a good trade background who hopes to move up. He will have served his apprenticeship, and perhaps reached his N.Z.T.C. Now he is offered the opportunity to move into professional status. He will be encouraged to continue his studies, which will fit him for his future duties as an executive. DRAUGHTSMAN DESIGNER: Age group—2o-35. A background in engineering drawing, with an interest in design required. A young man will be considered for training, but a senior with wider experience may be preferred. ESTIMATOR: The opportunity for a young tradesman with a School Certificate to enter a specialised and rewarding field. He will be trained in the costing of structural engineering projects.
