Supermarket Site To Be Rezoned

At the request of solicitors for Grocers United Stores Properties Ltd., the Waimairi County Council agreed to rezone the south-east corner of the Ham road-Clyde road intersection as a special commercial zone. It is at present zoned residential, and is intended for use as a supermarket site. The council also decided to change the zoning of certain land on the other three corners of the intersection from commercial to residential.
