Lower Prices For Lamb (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 22. Trading for most commodities was steady on London's Smithfield market this week, the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board market information reports. There was a reduction in quotations for New Zealand lamb. The main grade (29 to 361 b) was down Id per lb on last week. New Zealand mutton continued in light supply at slightly easier prices. The main grade of hoggets (49 to 561 b) sold at 18d to 19d per lb and wethers at 17d to 18d per lb. Ewes were not quoted. Price Range Quotations for New Zealand lamb:—
