PRESSURE ON HAGLEY

Close Tussle Expected The meeting of Hagley Old Boys, leaders in the senior men’s hockey competition, and Woolston A at Burwood Park today could develop into one of the best games of the season. Woolston made a slow start to the season, but is now in top gear, second in the competition, and applying pressure on Hagley. The other match among the top four teams involves University and Harewood. Harewood has rallied well after appearing likely to be in the bottom four and a close interesting tussle should result.

High School Old Boys have a commanding lead in the Taylor Trophy competition and should beat Selwyn. Their closest rivals, Sydenham, should have an easy win over Woolston B.
