MICROWAVE LINK
All Spur Lines To Be Opened Post Office engineers will open spur lines from Christchurch to Timaru and Ashburton in the new microwave link during the week-end. The regional engineer (Mr H. W. Wilkinson) said yesterday that by next Monday the microwave link between Wellington and Dunedin would be fully operative on all spurs. He said there would be double the existing number of circuits. More would be added as the increase in toll traffic warranted.
