N. VIETNAM RAIDS

Two U.S. Jet ’Planes Lost (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) SAIGON, July 22. The United States military command in Saigon announced today that two more United States jet planes were lost in bombing raids on North Vietnam yesterday. Nine American aircraft have been confirmed lost this week. North Vietnam put up MiG fighters and more missiles than previously to intercept the daily raids during the period.
