Instructors’ Views

Representatives of tho Christchurch Driving Instructors' Association will meet the Commissioner of Transport (Mr R. J. Polascbek) in Wellington next week to discuss the reduction of road accidents in Christchurch and ways in which the association can co-operate with the Transport Department The representatives will be the president of the association (Mr R. W. Fielding) and the secretary (Mr V. F. Searle). The association was formed in April by 10 Christchurch insructors. The association was concerned that Christchurch had the highest number of accidents of the four main centres and wanted to help promote road safety in the city, Mr Searle said.
