TO LOOK AT TANK
New Zealand Army officers will evaluate a prototype of the United States General Sheridan tank in Australia next year with a view to recom-' mending it as a replacement for the present tanks at Waiouru. The tank is said to have captured the imagination of military experts. It can fire Shillelagh guided missiles or a new multipurpose conventional round from the same 152 mm gun-launcher. The conventional ammunition has a fully combustible cartridge case.—(PA.)
