Premium Issue By Rex Con.
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 20. The directors of Rex Consolidated, Auckland garment manufacturers, have resolved to issue 96,480 10s ordinary shares at a premium of 5s a share to existing share and convertible noteholders in the proportion of one new share for every five shares or notes held. The directors are confident of being able to m-dntain the 11 per cent dividend rate after a proposed one-for-five premium share issue, according to the chairman (Mr L. N. Ross). The shares will be offered on July 25 and will be payable in full not later than August 31. Books will close from July 26 to 29 inclusive and letters of entitlement will be posted on July 29.
