British Team Strongest
(N.Z. Press Association) _ SYDNEY. The British team to play Australia in the deciding third and final Rugby League test in Sydney tomorrow was anounced yesterday. The team looks the strongest Britain has fielded, and In match fitness it will start with an advantage over Australia. It is: K. Gowers; W. Burgess, I. Brooke, A. Buckley, G. Wrigglesworth; A. Hardis ty; T. Bishop; D. Robinson, J. Mantle, W. Ramsey, B. Edgar (captain), J. Flanagan, C. Watson.
Rain Prevents Any Play (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. Rain yesterday caused a day’s delay in the start of the cricket match between the West Indies and Surrey at the Oval. The start was postponed after both captains inspected the ground. Heavy overnight rain had soaked the outfield.
