FLIGHTS TO COAST
Service Late In 1968?

The National Airways Corporation advised it that Introducton of the service would come after the inauguration of jet air services on the main trunk route late in 1968. It was planned then to put a Fokker Friendship on the run to the West Coast This would depend, however, on the support of the people on the West Coast and Canterbury, the provision of suitable facilities on the West Coast, land settlement of a dispute as to where the facilities I should be located.
