Prams On Buses
Sir, —I must maintain that it is the lazy driver who inspired this proposed ban on prams. Time-tables could not be the trouble, as the effort to load and unload the prams does not take much time. Perhaps if this is the cause a ban should be put on the elderly passenger who takes so long to board the bus or the passenger without the fare ready. Mothers with prams pay a lot towards the board’s revenue, which helps to pay the drivers’ wages. It is worth thinking about.—Yours, etc., H. E. BUSH-KING. July 21, 1966.
